Running Man

1934: Musee National d'Art Moderne, Paris

This work is probably unfinished, but is almost undoubtedly Malevich's most anxiety-filled work. Caught between a cross and a sword, the man's head and beard form a ring around the face presenting a vision of thoughts flying in circles during the panic stricken run.
