Industrious 'Prentice Alderman of London, the Idle One brought before him, & impeach'd by his Accomplice

:

Tom Idle is brought before Francis Goodchild, who now wears the furred robes and gold chain of alderman and acting magistrate. The one-eyed bandit has turned on Tom, giving the court evidence against him. Tom is sentenced to hang at London's triple gallows at Tyburn, where executions sometimes drew as many as 100,000 spectators.
