Georgic
(from the Greek georgos, 'farmer')

The Latin poet Virgil wrote a series of poems called the Georgics on how to manage a farm. Georgic poems, therefore, are concerned with rural business. Unlike pastoral poems, which celebrate leisure, georgic poems are about people involved in labour -- plowing fields, keeping bees, that sort of thing.
