Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz
(1860 - 1909)

Timeline
1860 Born in Camprodón, Catalonia, Spain on the 29th of May.
1864 Gives his first public piano recital, at the age of four.
1867 Performs in Paris
1869 Plays at Madrid Conservatory
1870 Runs away; earns living as a travelling pianist in Castile, before returning home
1872 Runs away again, to South America and the U.S.
1873 Resumes music studies, at Leipzig Conservatory
1880 Accepts tuition money from Liszt in Budapest.
1883 Marries Rosina Jordana; they later have a son and two daughters.
1890 Gives up his concert career.
1891 Moves to London, to compose music for librettos written by financier Francis Burdett Money-Coutts, including Pepita Jiménez
1893 Settles in Paris.
1909 Dies the 18th of May in the French Pyrenees, of kidney failure.
