1908 Attends the Academy of Fine Arts of Vilno
1910 Attends the Académie des Beaux Arts in Vilna
1913 Moves to Paris and is admitted at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts
1914 WW I breaks out, Souting enlists in a work brigade to dig ditches, but is quickly discharged for poor health
1915 Meets Modigliani
1918 Leaves Paris for Ceret in the Pyrenees
1921 Returns to Paris
1923 American collector Paul Barnes visits his studios in and buys sixty paintings
1931 Spends his summers near Chatres until 1935
1940 Forced into hiding under Nazi occupation
1944 Dies 8 August in Paris
