1803 Enters John Clarke's School at Enfield
1804 Father is killed in a riding accident. Mother remarries William Rawlings, and the Keats children move to their maternal grandparents
1810 Mother dies
1811 Apprenticed to be a surgeon
1815 Becomes a medical student at Guy's Hospital
1816 Passes examinations and is licensed to practice as an apothecary
1817 Poems published
1818 Endymion published
1818 Brother dies, Keats moves to Wentworth Place
1818 Goes on a tour of Scotland and Ireland
1819 Suffers from depression and the first signs of tuberculosis
