Self-portrait in a Convex Mirror

1524: Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna

This self-portrait was Parmigianino's first serious work; he said he painted it to exhibit the "subtleties of art", as he rendered the image in the bowed mirror exactly as he saw it.
