1747 Accepts an invitation from Augustus III, the Elector of Saxony, and moves to Dresden
1758 Summoned to Vienna by the Empress Maria-Teresa, there he paints views of the capitalís Gothic and Baroque monuments
1761 Works for the Elector of Bavaria in Munich
1764 Teaches at the Dresden Academy
1766 Travels to Warsaw - is urged to settle there by the recently crowned king, Stanislaus II Augustus Poniatowski
1780 Dies 17 October in Warsaw
